About the role
You'll own a territory and build long-term relationships with schools, hospitals, NGOs, logistics companies and growing chains. You'll lead conversations from first meeting to signed contract, working closely with our solutions team on demos and proposals.
What you'll do
- Build a pipeline of mid-size businesses and institutions in your territory
- Run discovery meetings to understand each client's operations and pain points
- Prepare proposals and quotes with support from our solutions team
- Negotiate and close multi-product deals
- Stay in touch after go-live to grow accounts and win referrals
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years in B2B sales or business development
- A track record of meeting or beating targets
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field
Nice to have
- Existing relationships in healthcare, education, NGOs or logistics
- Experience selling ERP, accounting or SaaS products
What you'll earn
This is a commission-based role. You earn up to 40% of the value of every sale you close or help close, depending on the product and deal size. Commissions are paid by M-Pesa or bank once the client has paid. There's no cap on how much you can earn. For example, a KES 150,000 sale could earn you up to KES 60,000.
